Dennis races against time for PL return against Leicester

Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis could miss the Reds Premier League clash against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on October 3.

The Watford striker pulled out of the Super Eagles squad invited for the Algeria friendly after he picked up an injury in training.

With Moussa Niakhate, Orel Malanga, and Omar Richards already ruled out of the East Midlands derby, Steve Cooper will hope the Nigerian international will pass a late fitness test to make the trip to Leicester.

Likewise, Dennis Super Eagles teammate Wilfred Ndidi is doubtful for the game after he picked an injury at the Super Eagles camp in Constantine, Algeria.

The Leicester City midfielder returned to England for a medical scan which revealed that he suffered a grade one hamstring injury.

Leicester City and Forest are currently stuck at the bottom of the PL table with 1 and 4 four points respectively.
