Premier League title holders Manchester City have announced the signing of Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea.
The 29-year-old joined the reigning European champions in a deal worth £25m plus a possible £5m in add-ons.
Kovacic is joining the Cityzens on a four-year deal and will replace the departed skipper Ilkay Gundogan who joined Spanish champions Barcelona earlier this week.
The ex-Real Madrid man has become the first summer signing for Pep Guardiola's team ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
