The 2023/24 season is up and running, and we've seen some world-class performances across Europe's top five leagues and the Saudi Pro League, which is growing in popularity.

Cristiano Ronaldo has started the season impressively with Al-Nassr, and it is even incredible considering his age. He is in his 22nd season and keeps breaking and setting records.

The 38-year-old started by winning the Arab Club Champions Cup in August and winning the Golden Boot in the competition after scoring six goals.

The veteran forward has started well in the SPL after Al-Nassr were stunned in the first two league games of the season by Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq and Al-Taawoun.

Since then, Al-Nassr have won every game and sits 5th in the table after seven games. Ronaldo scored 14 goals in 16 SPL games last season.

Manchester City's Erling Haaland, PSG's Kylian Mbappe and Bayern Munich's Harry Kane have started off where they left off.

The Norwegian striker scored 36 goals in the 2022/23 season, breaking the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League season. Kane scored 6 goals fewer than the Norwegian.

Mbappe won a record 5th Ligue 1 Golden Boot last season after scoring 29 goals as PSG won another league title.

How Ronaldo comapres to Kane, Mbappe, Haaland

At 38, Ronaldo is going toe to toe with some of the world's best young players. He has scored nine goals in 8 games in all competitions so far, per Transfermarkt.

Cristiano Ronaldo (9 goals and 3 assists in 8 matches)

Kylian Mbappe (8 goals and O assist in 6 matches)

Erling Haaland (8 goals and 2 assists in 8 matches)

Harry Kane (8 goals and 4 assists in 7 matches)

Despite a turbulent summer at PSG, Mbappe is firing on all cylinders this season under new manager Luis Enrique. The French superstar sustained an injury in the Classique Derby last weekend and could be out for a few weeks.

Kane made Bayern history last weekend when he bagged his first hat-trick for the club. Despite his phenomenal goalscoring form, the England captain is not the top scorer in Germany. That title belongs to Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy.

Ronaldo is the current top scorer in the SPL and will be looking to win his first Golden Boot in Sasudi Arabias. He has won Golden Boots in England, Spain and Italy.
