City vs Madrid: Thomas Muller predicts winner

Bayern Munich starman, Thomas Muller has tipped Real Madrid to defeat Manchester City en route to the finals of the competition.

That's all in the past now, as the two European powerhouses are tied up on aggregate and are ready to collide for a place on the biggest stage in club football.

Pep Guardiola's side are heading into Wednesday's second leg with a 22-game unbeaten run to protect, but Muller is backing Real Madrid to triumph because of his former teammate, David Alaba.

“On a personal level [because of Alaba], I am more with Real,” Muller said via Bavarian Football Works.

“In terms of football, I find both teams really great, the way they shape the game. Nice to look at. Will be a top second leg,” he added.
