It's a beautiful day in the city of Milan today as the players each walk home with a BMW luxury car as part of the two brand's partnership agreement signed in 2021.

The iconic German luxury car manufacturer renewed the agreement with one of Italian football's most traditional clubs last month to have their collaboration for years to come.

The brand has a similar agreement with Spanish club Real Madrid worth £6.5m a year, though it is unclear how much it pays AC Milan to be the Premium and Automotive Partner.

According to a video shared on social media by the club, the 25-man squad each received a customised BMW X6 with their surnames on the number plate alongside the club and car brand logo.

Nigerian winger Samuel Chuwkueze featured in the presentation and was spotted autographing his car with his teammates, including former Chelsea stars Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud.

The X6, which has a base fee of at least $70,100 according to Cars US, was also given to club officials, including Italian businessman and chairman Paolo Scaroni.

The presentation coincided with the 58th birthday of head coach Stefano Pioli. He guided the club to their first Scudetto in 11 years in 2021 and reached the Champions League semi-final last season.
