Chelsea legend wants Osimhen to join Premier League club

Chelsea legend, Craig Burley has advised the club to sign inform Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen to partner, Christopher Nkunku in the Blues’ attack.

Burley believes that the Napoli forward and RB Leipzig’s Nkunku will be a handful for defenses in the Premier League.

According to the reports, 25-year-old Nkunku will be a Chelsea player next summer subject to official confirmation from the club.

Chelsea still wants to strengthen their forward line by targeting Napoli center-forward Osimhen.

90min reported last month that Osimhen was top of Graham Potter’s wish list for the No.9 position.

Burley told ESPN he loves the idea of an Osimhen-Nkunku strike partnership at Stamford Bridge next season.

“I think him (Nkunku) and Osimhen would scare the living daylights out of people… can you imagine,” Burley said.

“I don’t know if he would leave Napoli, but you’re not getting him until the summer at the earliest.”
