Technical Committee Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Sherif Inuwa Ahlan, has assured that Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle will see out his contract with the football house.
Chelle has around nine months left on his contract with the NFF
The Malian’s future, however, remain uncertain with a number of countries and clubs showing interest in the former centre-back after he guided the Super Eagles to third position at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ahlan is confident Chelle will respect his contract with the NFF.
“The chairman assured that the Super Eagles coach will honour his contract and so there was no reason to discuss his situation,” a source informed SCORENigeria.
The Super Eagles will return to action in a four-nation invitational tournament in Amman, Jordan next month.
They will face hosts Jordan, and Iran in the competition.
