Victor Osimhen made history by becoming the highest-scoring Nigerian international in the Italian Serie A following his goal against Atalanta on Saturday, November 5.

5. Obinna Nsofor

The former Inter Milan striker scored 14 Serie A goals for Chievo Verona and Inter Milan.

The ex-Super Eagles striker scored 6 goals in 26 goals for Chievo including a goal on his Serie A debut against Parma in September 2005.

4. Simy Nwankwo

The former striker scored 16 Serie A goals for clubs like Atalanta, Palermo and Lazio.

Makinwa scored 2 goals for Super Eagles in 18 appearances.

3. Obafemi Martins

The former Super Eagles striker scored 28 goals for Inter in the Italian Serie A from 2006 to 2009.

All of Martin's goals for Inter came in the league during his three-season spell at the club.

He also scored 18 goals for the Super Eagles in 42 caps.

2. Simy Nwankwo
