CAF Confederation Cup: We want to make History — Aiyenugba

Kwara United goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba says the players want to make history by beating African champions, RS Berkane, to advance to the Group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Kwara United will clash with RS Berkane in the first leg of the Confederation Cup, final preliminary round this Sunday.

The Nigerian side are aware that they need a result at home to put themselves in good position when they travel for the return leg.

Speaking on the tie, Aiyenugba said that, “We want to use the match to write our names in gold, by winning the competition,” he pledged.


The match, with the Moroccan side will hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Sunday. Kickoff is 4pm.
