Bundesliga: Boniface rescues a point for Leverkusen against Dortmund

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface was on target again as Bayern Leverkusen held Borussia Dortmund to a 1-1 draw at the Bay Arena in Bundesliga.

Dortmund hit the front in the 5th minute courtesy of a goal from Julian Ryerson.

Super Eagles striker Boniface equalized for the home side in the 79th minute to rescue a point for the Bundesliga leaders.

It was the 22-year-old's eighth Serie A goal of the season as he played for the entirety of the game.

Boniface's leveller ensured that Xabi Alonso's side remained unbeaten in the league.

Leverkusen maintained their lead at the top of Bundesliga with 35 points, two more than champions Bayern Munich who have a game in hand.
