Bukayo Saka's Nigerian family from Ogun State were spotted in the stands at the Khalifa International Stadium as England thrashed Iran 6-2 in the World Cup group opener on Monday, November 21.

The Nigerian-born English international scored a brace as the Three Lions got their World Cup campaign off to a remarkable start.

In an Instagram photo shared by Naija Footballers, the 21-year-old was captured having a conversation with his family before kick-off.

Saka's remarkable performance at Arsenal earned him a starting place in Gareth Southgate's line-up and he proved why he deserved to start ahead of stars like Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish.

The Arsenal winger was born in the United Kingdom to Nigerian parents but chose to represent the Three Lions at the international level.
