Bosso unveils final squad for CAF U-20 AFCON

Coach Ladan Bosso has picked his final squad for the CAF U20 African Cup of Nations which holds in Egypt.

The 25-man squad consists of 23 home-based and 3 foreign professionals, who arrived to beef up the team.

The three foreign-based players are Michael Ologo who plays for Istanbulspor of Turkey, Abel Ogwuche of Trelleborgs FF and Ahmed Abdullahi of KAA Gent FC.

Water FC goalkeeper Nathaniel Nwosu also made the cut, along with Chijioke Anigboso of Giant Brillars.

MIDFIELDERS: Daniel Daga (Dakkada FC), Onuche Ogbelu (Nasarawa United), Musa Usman, Mohammed Aminu ( Mailantarki FC), Jonathan Nicholas (Simoiben FC), Shatima Umar( Mahaniam FC), Caleb Ochedikwu (Mavlon FC), Samson Lawal (Unattached).

FORWARDS: Jude Sunday (Realsaphier FC), Francis Ayuba (Nasarawa United), Adams Olamilekan (Remo Stars), Ahmed Abdullahi (Gent), Haliru Sarki (Maikunkele FC), Emmanuel Uchegbu (Plateau United), Ibrahim Mohammed (Mavlon FC), Kingsley James (Unattached).

The tournament will kick off February 19, with Flying Eagles drawn in Group A alongside host Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal.
