- Rugby star, Azeez Oladipo has stated that the Sports ministry is set to frustrate the works of the federation.

- He joins other aggrieved persons who have lashed out at the ministry.

Veteran Rugby player, Azeez Oladipo has added his voice to those who have opined that the recent dissolution of the rugby board by the Sports ministry is an attempt to frustrate the works of the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation as well as players

Ladipo led a team of players and other aggrieved persons to express their displeasure and frustration at the action of the Sports ministry who they claim didn’t give recourse to the national team plan and Federation despite turning the Rugby Federation down on the ground of no funds when they first approached the ministry only to now ruin their effort after privately sourcing for the funds which the Sports ministry couldn’t provide, Brila.net said.

He said: “We’ve already gotten tickets for camp and for guys coming from Abroad. Rugby Africa want to get tickets from teams Male and Female they are in a fix right now and they need to make a decision by Friday."

"This Burkina Faso that we are going for we gave them (Sports Ministry) a budget and they said they don’t have money and are simply focussed on the Olympics and we (Rugby Federation) had to source for funds privately.”
