Berbatov tells Ronaldo to listen to his body before he retires

Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov has advised Juventus star player Cristiano Ronaldo to observe his body before he considers retirement.

According to Berbatov, Ronaldo who turned 35 a few days ago has the ability to play football till 40.

Berbatov who played alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United was quoted by Daily Star as saying: “Cristiano Ronaldo, my former teammate, turned 35 earlier this week and he is still on fire.

“The Portugal star has over 30 goals for Juventus in all competitions this term.

"Ronaldo is extraordinary and he has stated that he wants to play this game when he is 40 and that I believe he can achieve.

“Ryan Giggs did it and it pleases me to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 35, doing great also.

“Recently I told myself if I had retired too early from football.

“But Ronaldo must listen to his body in order to know when to retire from football.”
