Real Madrid player, Jude Bellingham believes teammate Vinicius Junior deserved to be named the winner of the Ballon d’Or award this year.

According to him, Manchester City’s Rodri didn't deserve the award

Rodri was handed the Ballon d’Or during an event in Paris, France on October 28 ahead of Vinicius, who was widely considered as the favourite.

But Bellingham said: “In my opinion, the Ballon d’Or should have gone to Real Madrid. Particularly Vinicius.

“But that’s my opinion and nothing on Rodri, he’s a brilliant player… it’s just about our season.”

Vinicius was instrumental for the Spanish club as they won the LaLiga and Champions League titles.
