Bayelsa United in good position for NPFL promotion - Coach

Coach of Bayelsa United, Diepriye Teibowei has said his lads are in a good position to qualify for premier league promotion and that is where the team's focus will be.

This comes after their victory in the AITEO Cup on Sunday, August 8, 2021. They picked up a silverware and a continental ticket with that victory against Nasarawa United.

Teibowei speaking in a chat with brila.net said Bayelsa united will make the most of their outstanding fixtures to close up gap on teams above them been fixtures accumulated while the team was involved in the Federation cup.

He said now that the cup competition is done with, the team will ride on the moment to get the team’s topflight promotion bid back on track with the four games remaining for them.
