Barcelona to announce Xavi as new manager

Barcelona will be announcing Xavi Hernandez as the new manager of the club tomorrow after the sacking of Ernesto Valverde.

Xavi who currently coaches Qatar clu, Al Sadd, had a wonderful career at Barcelona which ended in 2015 after winning everything necessary for the club.

Al Sadd has said that they will not disturb his move to his former club but would like him to remain till Friday because of a final the club has to play. Barcelona will be playing their next game on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Xavi has confirmed that he held talks with Barcelona which he described as his dream club to manage.

"I cannot say anything, they were here to talk to me and we discussed many things. Sorry I cannot give any more information.

"I cannot hide it's my dream to coach Barcelona, I've said it many times in many interviews, everyone knows I support Barcelona from the bottom of my heart. But I'm doing my job here, I'm doing my best. I was focused on the semi-final and now I'm focusing on the final."
