Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close eye on Super Eagles strikers, Victor Boniface and Victor Osimhen as potential replacements for 35-year-old Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish striker joined the Catalans from Bayern Munich last summer in a deal reportedly worth €50 million, leading them to the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup.

Despite Lewandowski's success with La Blaugrana, manager Xavi Hernandez is said to be planning for the future and is looking for an eventual replacement for Lewandowski.

Barcelona are looking for another striker next summer and Nigerians, Osimhen and Boniface are two options the La Liga champions are reportedly looking at, per Soccernet.

Boniface has been one of the revelations of the season so far in the European top five leagues. The Nigerian striker's superb form for Bayern Leverkusen since joining them from Union SG has not gone unnoticed.

Osimhen, on the other hand, has been consistent with his performances since joining Napoli from Lille. The Super Eagles star led the side to the Serie A title last season and has begun this campaign well.

Barcelona might face a huge task in convincing the Italian champions to sell their ace due to the hefty price tag he has attracted, but would likely be able to convince Leverkusen to part ways with Boniface.

Recently, the Nigerian youngster was announced as the Bundesliga's best player for August ahead of the likes of Bayern Munich's Harry Kane.
