La Liga giants FC Barcelona have reportedly shown interest in signing Nigeria's Gift Orban from KAA Gent.

The 20-year-old has gained media recognition in recent times following his explosive form for the Belgium club.

The Catalan club is the latest to join the likes of Porto and Benfica in the race for the signature of the young Nigerian striker.

Reports indicate that Barca have sent scouts to monitor the development of the highly rated young striker.

Despite expressing his desire to move to the Premier League, an offer from the Blaugranas might be too tempting to decline.

Gent will have a tough time keeping the free-scoring striker in the summer but can cash in on him if a good offer is made for the Nigerian.
