Ballon d’Or: Osimhen finishes in top 10

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been voted among the top 10 best players in the world at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in France.

The Super Eagles striker finished in 8th place following his remarkable season with Napoli.

The 24-year-old led Napoli to their first Scudetto title in 33 years after scoring 26 Serie A goals in 32 appearances.

The Nigerian international also won the Paolo Rossi Award becoming the first African player to do so.

Osimhen finished ahead of Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric and Manchester City's Bernardo Silva who finished in 9th and 10th place respectively.
