Aruna Quadri ousted in world contender

It was a quarter-final game to forget for Aruna Quadri in the World Table Tennis contender in Durban, South Africa.

Quadri was defeated by Ukrainian star, Yaroslav Zhumudenko in a clean sweep, 3-0.

It was rather terrible for the Nigerian as his opponent completely dominated proceedings with a score of 11-8, 11-7, and 11-3.

Meanwhile, the World number 14 started the competition impressively as he zoomed past Chinese star Sun Wen in the round of 32.

He also defeated Frenchman Lebrun in the round of 16 before setting up a quarter-final tie against Zhumudenko.
