Arsenal join race to sign Chukwueze – Report

Premier League giants Arsenal have joined the race for the signature of Super Eagles and Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze.

According to reports, Mikel Arteta wants to sign the 23-year-old as an additional option to Bukayo Saka on Arsenal's right flank.

This is not the first time the Gunners have expressed interest in the Super Eagles winger.

As an exciting younger winger, Chukwueze was tipped to move to the Emirates Stadium after the U-17 FIFA World Cup in 2015 but the deal broke down.

Spanish manager Unai Emery also tried to sign the Nigerian international after he took over from Arsene Wenger as manager for the North London club.

Emery, who won his first game as Aston Villa manager against Manchester United following the sacking of Steven Gerard has shortlisted Chukwueze as one of the three players he wants at Villa Park.

Everton are also interested in the signature of the Super Eagle as per reports.
