Arise TV broadcaster, Rufai Oseni on Monday, April 3 decided to put on a different lens by delving into sports rather than the usual politics and business trends.

The controversial and outspoken journalist who expressed his delight following the sacking of Chelsea manager, Graham Potter admitted that Chelsea fans have endured a tumultuous time for the past seven months the ex-Brighton boss has been at the helm at Stamford Bridge.

He explained that, unlike the Gunners, fans of the Blues are not accustomed to enduring a long time of suffering as the case has been under the Englishman.

“There is a difference between Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans, Arsenal fans were perennial sufferers. They knew they were going to suffer every year, Rufai said during Arise TV newspaper review.

“How do you explain for a person that is known to be finishing in the top four now be languishing in 10th position with Aston Villa beating you 2-0 over the weekend at Stamford Bridge? That's the height of humiliation and suffering.”

Chelsea parted company with Graham Potter on Sunday night following the Blues' 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday, April 1.

The 47-year-old managed 7 wins, 7 draws and 8 defeats in 22 games for the London club.
