Aribo's boss at Southampton Ralph Hasenhüttl sacked

Joe Aribo's manager Ralph Hasenhüttl has been relieved of his duties as manager of Premier League side Southampton following a poor run of results.

This was confirmed in a statement released by the club via its official website on Monday, November 7 (today).

The news comes on the back of the Saints' 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday, November 6.

“Southampton Football Club can confirm it has parted company with Men’s First Team Manager Ralph Hasenhüttl,” the statement partly read.

The Saints have only managed one win in their last five PL matches (one win, two defeats, and two draws).

First Team Lead Coach Rubén Sellés will be taking over on an interim basis before a permanent manager will be announced in due course, as per the statement.
