Aribo gets new manager at Southampton

Following the sacking of Ralph Hasenhüttl on Monday, November 7, Southampton have announced Nathan Jones as the club's new manager.

The Saints announced the 49-year-old in the early hours of Thursday, November 10(today) via the club's official handles.

Jones, who was the head coach of Luton Town in the lower league prior to his appointment penned a three-year deal at St Mary's.

Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo has so far featured in 14 Premier League matches under the former coach Ralph Hasenhüttl scoring 2 goals in the process.

Despite the efforts of the 26-year-old who joined the club in the summer from Glasgow Rangers, Southampton have only managed 3 wins in 14 PL matches.

Jones will begin his campaign as Southampton's manager with an arduous task away to Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend.
