FC Porto fullback Zaidu Sanusi could miss Nigeria's friendly against Portugal.

The 25-year-old was substituted in the 52nd minute after he sustained an injury in FC Porto's 2-1 win against Athletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

Torino's Ola Aina has already been ruled out for the rest of the year after he also sustained a severe injury in training last week.

Another Super Eagles player who will miss the high-profile friendly against the former European Kings is Cremonese's Cyriel Dessers as the 27-year-old also sustained a thigh injury during his side's clash against Udinese in the Serie A last weekend.

The Super Eagles will trade tackles with the Cristiano Ronaldo-led Portuguese side in Lisbon on November 17.
