Alan Shearer hails 'magnificent' Iheanacho

Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheancho has attracted praises from a section of the English press following his splendid form in the league and FA Cup.

The Leicester forward's display in the FA Cup victory against Manchester United over the weekend was hailed by England legend, Alan Shearer who labelled him as a fantastic player.

The 24-year-old netted twice for the Foxes and set up Youri Tielemans for an amazing team goal after 28 passes.

Speaking during his duty as BBC analyst, Shearer singled out Iheanacho for praise following the Nigerian’s outstanding contribution.

“You can see from how they played, Iheanacho was magnificent, Ndidi winning the ball in the middle and the forwards are putting chances. They are just joy to watch.”

“He was in far post making sure that things doesn’t go away. Iheanacho is natural center forward and he was lucky to get himself the goal,” the former Newcastle United Forward said.
