Riyad Mahrez has departed Manchester City after five trophy-laden years to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. The Algerian was left out of Man City's pre-season tour, a sign that his time in England was coming to an end.

The Saudi club unveiled the 32-year-old with an interesting video posted on social media. It showed Mahrez wearing the club's jersey, with '2027' written on it.

Al-Ahli reportedly paid Man City £30 million for the veteran winger, who is their third high-profile summer signing after ex-Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy, and Roberto Firmino, who signed from Liverpool.

Mahrez will have some time to get to know his teammates since their next game is against Al-Hazem on August 11 in the Saudi Pro League. They concluded their pre-season with a 2-1 defeat to Austrian side St. Polten.
