Akwa United star defender Dennis Nya joins Zambian side Zesco United

Akwa United defender Dennis Nya has signed for Zambian Premier League giants Zesco United.

Nya, a dependable defender signed for Zesco United earlier this week, but was presented to the fan on Thursday.

The FIFA U17 World Cup winner becomes the latest Nigerian to move to the club, after Wasiu Jimoh who left Kwara United for the Lusaka outfit.

Nya represented Lobi Stars and Plateau United, before switching to Akwa United in the Nigeria Professional Football league.

The defender’s move is a big blow to Akwa United who set to kick start the 2022-2023 campaign against Bendel Insurance on Sunday.
