Ajayi makes appearance in West Bromwich's win of Sheffield

Nigerian footballer, Semi Ajayi was in action for West Bromwich Albion in the Skybet Championship as his side defeated Sheffield United on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

He came off the bench to replace Jake Livermore as the Baggies ran riot over the Blades at the Hawthorns.

Jack Robinson’s own goal in the 26th minute gave West Bromwich Albion a slim advantage going into the halftime break.

Dara O’Shea made it 2 – 0 two minutes into the second half before Alex Mowatt (53rd minute) and Callum Robinson (59th minute) completed the rout.

West Bromwich Albion now leading the table with seven points from three matches played so far.
