Aina ruled out for the remainder of 2022

Torino defender Ola Aina will be out of action for the remainder of the year 2022 due to a hamstring injury.

The 26-year-old has been in decent form for Torino this season making 10 Serie A appearances for the club.

The Super Eagles full back was on target last weekend as Torino beat Udinese 2-1 in the Serie A.

The former Chelsea academy product who was set to extend his contract with the club sustained a hamstring injury during training which will see him miss the remaining games of the year, as reported by Tuttosport.

Aina is expected to miss all of Torino's fixtures prior to the World Cup break against champions Milan, Bologna, Roma, and Sampdoria.

He is however expected to be available for selection in the new year when Torino take on Verona in their first game of the year.
