'Agba baller' — Applause for Barcelona's Twitter admin for praising Oshoala in pidgin

Following Barcelona Femeni's 9-0 hammering against Benfica in the UEFA Women's Champions League, some Nigerians took to social media to praise Barcelona's Twitter admin for hailing Asisat Oshoala's performance in the local Pidgin language.

The Super Falcons striker starred as her side thrashed the Portuguese at home in their Champions League group opener.

The reigning African women's footballer of the year hit a brace of goals and assists as last season's finalist began another European campaign on a flying start.

After the game, FC Barcelona lavished praise on the ex-Falcons captain for her remarkable performance in the native pidgin language.

The Barcelona Twitter handle on Monday morning tweeted “Abga baller” which literary means 'Senior footballer'.

Impressed by the tweet, some Nigerians took to Twitter to hail the admin.
