Rivers United striker, Sunday Adetunji is disappointed with his side's goalless draw with Abia Warriors in Port Harcourt on Sunday, May 23.

The Port Harcourt-based club dominated the game for long spells but couldn't find the back of the net before the referee brought the game to a close.

The draw means Stanley Eguma’s tutored side dropped points at home for the first time this season, Brila.net said.

The result also left them in the fifth position on the log, although they are two points adrift joint leaders Akwa United and Kano Pillars.

Reacting to the result, Adetunji admitted, he’s disappointed to see their perfect home record come to an end, but he charged the team to leave the result behind and focus on their next challenge.

“We dropped points at home for the first time this season, it was a disappointing result, but we will regroup and focus on Wednesday at Kwara United. ” He told brila.net.

Adetunji has scored twice for the Pride of Rivers since joining them in the mid season transfer window.
