AC Milan, Villareal to met today over Chukwueze transfer

AC Milan is set to meet Villareal over the transfer of Samuel Chukwueze, according to Calciomercato.

The meeting according to reports will be held on Wednesday, July 19 (today).

Milann has expressed interest in signing the winger following his fine form in La Liga last season.

Villareal value of the Nigerian the €35m as he has only one year left in his current contract.

Milan, however, is willing to pay €25m for him and will seek a reduction on the price.

Chukwueze was named the Best African player in the Spanish top-flight last season.

Aside from the 24-year-old, Milan are also interested in Nigerian-born forward, Arnaut Danjuma.

The Serie A giants want to take Danjuma on a season-long loan.
