Sevilla has congratulated Jerome Adams Akor on his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.

The striker was named in Nigeria’s 23-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin on Friday.

Akor is the only new invitee in the list released by head coach, Eric Chelle.

Sevilla in a short message on their X handle, felicitate with the striker.

” Congrats to Akor Adams who has been called up by Nigeria for the first time!,” reads the message.

The 24-year-old once represented Nigeria at the U-20 level.
