2023 World Cup: Oshoala, Ajibade others hit Super Falcons camp ahead of preparatory games

Barcelona Femeni and Atletico Madrid strikers Asisat Oshoala and Rasheedat Ajibade have hit the Super Falcons camp in Antalya alongside nine others as the team begins training for their friendly games against Haiti and New Zealand.

Nigeria trade tackles with Haiti and New Zealand in preparation for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand later this year.

The last time the Super Falcons came together, it was for the Revelation Cup in February where they won just one game.

This time, coach Randy Waldrum would hope to see some improvements in his team. Nine players arrived camp on Tuesday. Then as at the last report by the Super Falcons handle, eleven more players have joined the camp.

Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Gift Monday, Asisat Oshoala, Ngozi Okobi, Toni Payne, Christy Uchiebe, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Desire Oparanozie teamed up with the team on Wednesday.

The team also kicked off training on Wednesday at their training camp in Antalya.

Nigeria play Haiti on the 7th of April. Then they will take on New Zealand on the 11th of April.
