2023 WWC: ‘Keep going’ – Kanu hails Super Falcons after latest win

Arsenal legend Kanu Nwankwo has urged Nigeria’s Super Falcons to keep going at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament in Australia.

The former Nigeria international said this while reacting to the Super Falcons’ FIFA World Cup 3-2 win against host nation Australia on Thursday.

DAILY POST reports that goals from Uchenna Kanu, Osinachi Ohale, and Asisat Oshoala ensured the Super Falcons defeated Australia at Suncorp Stadium.

Emily van Egmond and Alanna Kennedy also scored for Australia against Randy Waldrum’s side.

Reacting, Kanu, in a tweet on his Twitter handle, congratulated the Super Falcons.

Congratulations, our super falcons, we keep going,” Kanu tweeted.

The Super Falcons will now face the Republic of Ireland in their last Group B encounter next Monday.
