Asisat Oshoala is doubtful for Super Falcons next game against tournament co-hosts Australia at the ongoing FiFA Women's World Cup.

According to reports from the Super Falcons camp, the Barcelona striker suffered a knock during Nigeria's group opener against Canada Monday.

The reigning African footballer of the year will have to pass a late fitness test on Wednesday before she'll be given the green light to feature against Australia.

Either Desire Oparanozie, Jennifer Echegini, Monday Gift and Uchenna Kanu could step in for the 28-year-old if she fails the fitness test.

The Falcons will take on the Aussies at the Brisbane Stadium on Thursday, July 27 as Randy Waldrum's side eyes their win of the campaign to boost their chances of qualifying to the knockout phase.

Australia will be without their star player Sam Kerr who has been ruled out for the clash.
