2023 AFCONQ: Iheanacho, Ndidi in Super Eagles squad for Sierra Leone clash
Iheanacho and Ndidi in action for Leicester City
Leicester City's Kelechi Ihenacho and Wilfred Ndidi have been called up to the side that will face Sierra Leone in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Brentford midfielder, Frank Onyeka is also in the squad the club has confirmed.
Both clubs confirmed the invitation on their official website.
Daily Post reports that Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro is expected to unveil the full list later today.
The three-time African champions will take on the Leone Stars in the matchday five encounters at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia on Sunday, June 18.
The Super Eagles camp for the game is expected to open in Lagos on Sunday.
A point against Sierra Leone will seal Nigeria’s qualification for Cote d’Ivoire 2023.
