2023 AFCON: Check out the 8 teams that have already qualified for tournament

Eight African teams have booked their place at the 2023 Nations Cup which will hold in Ivory Coast next year.

The Pharaohs of Egypt became the latest team to qualify for the tournament following their 2-1 win over Guinea on Wednesday, June 14.

The seven-time winners have now qualified for the tournament for a record 26th time.

The seven other African teams that have qualified for the tournament are Champions Senegal, Algeria, Tunisia, South Africa, Morocco, Burkina Faso and hosts Ivory Coast.

Seven other matches will hold in the penultimate stage of the qualifiers on Saturday, June 17.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the tournament which kicks off early next year.
