Journalists, Police flouted social distancing order today, Dino cries out

Former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye has called out journalists and Police for flouting social distancing rules during Funke Akindele's case in court today in Lagos.

Taking to Twitter, the ex-Senator raised an alarm on how the police and journalists might have succeeded in enhancing the spread of the disease.

"Journalists and Police covering social distancing case in court today in Lagos. Imagine the disrespect for the very social distancing they came to cover. God help us," Dino tweeted.

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and her husband Abdulrasheed Bello a.k.a JJC skills were sentenced to 14 days of community service each for flouting the same rule.

The Magistrate court sitting in Ogba directed them to pay a fine of N100,000 each.

Recall that she threw a party at their residence which had guests numbering above the number of persons the government permitted in a gathering, MyNigeria.com reported yesterday

The actress and her husband JJC Skillz were arraigned at the Magistrate Court in Ogba where she pleaded guilty to the charges levelled against her.
