I will never walk, march or protest in Nigeria ever again- Twitter user vows

A certain Twitter user, @FakhuusHashim has vowed never to physically walk, or protest against any ill treatment in Nigeria.

She made this statement on the microblogging platform in a series of tweets where she condemned the Goverment for stifling right to protest and feee speech.

In her series of tweets, she blamed the Nigerian Government for bastardising the act of protesting in public spaces. She also accused the Government for causing dissent amongst a group of protesters, by paying counter protestors to disrupt well meaning intentions of the people.

As such she vowed never to protest again.

"The Nigerian government has bastardised the act of protesting by means of public congregation in public spaces. Paid protestors as counter protestors can be spotted everywhere there’s a stand taken against the government.

"I for one have taken the decision to never physically walk, March or stand publicly in protest for anything in Nigeria." She said.
