Former classmate reveals what Maryam Sanda was like seven years ago

Usman Rasheed, a former classmate of Maryam Sanda has revealed what she was like seven years ago before she was sentenced to death by a High Court in Abuja.

Maryam Sanda was sentenced to death for killing her husband Bilyaminu Bello by stabbing him with broken bottles.

Reacting to rhe news, Usman shared the below Serie of tweets.

"Its a sad ending for Maryam sanda I can't stop staring at our graduation pics in Scotland when we finish our Msc and through out your results was fantastic. Ya Allah make us control our anger that will lead us to things that we will regret. Allah ya Kara rufa mana asiri.

"I can still hear Maryam sanda voice saying Master when we crack jokes and I will be like look at this tout maiduguri/gwoza girl. inalillahi wa Ina ilayhir rajiun. It's a sad ending. your kids will grow up and hear their parents story and leave with that stigma forever.

"I still see Maryam sanda in my memory during our Msc days at Heriot Watt Dubai. Anytime we have 15 mins break during lectures we stroll down get cup of coffee, drinks and snacks. We crack jokes together and go back to class.

"It's emotional to see someone you know sentenced to death by hanging...During our Dubai days we always go to Maryam sanda house at JLT/marina she cook for us. The Maryam I knew 7years back was cool,calm,caring and religious. it's a sad ending for her".
