Adedamola Alayaki, son of a former National Secretary of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr Adewunmi Alayaki, has been abducted, according to the DAILY POST.

Adedamola was picked up by some unknown gunmen on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. The Daily Post said the family has since been contacted by the abductors, demanding N20 million before his release.

We gathered that he was kidnapped on his father's farm at Isaga-Orile community, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Thursday morning.

According to Abimbola, Adedamola “is the Manager in one of his (father’s) farms.”

“They went to the farm and I think that was where some gunmen abducted the guy,” Oyeyemi confirmed.
