A staff of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, IKEDC, was stabbed on the head with a broken bottle when he tried to disconnect power from a community.
According to reports, the community in Lagos has not had power supply for three weeks.
When the man arrived to disconnect those that have not paid their power bill, the angry residents attacked him, leaving him with several cuts on his head that required stitching.
A video shared online shows him crying out in pain as his wounds are stitched.
