Wuse market in Abuja get razed by fire

The Wuse market in the Central Area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been gutted by fire.

There was chaos and traffic on the roads leading to the market as people were seen running helter-skelter.

The policemen upon arrival at the market, secured the entrance to prevent people from gaining access to the market.

It was reported that the policemen shot sporadically and fired tear gas into the air.

Also, vehicles parked at the carpark have been burnt and people inside the market trying to escape the fire.

It was said that firefighters arrived at the scene to quench the fire.

Although the cause of the fire is yet to be known, the fire outbreak halted the businesses around the market.
