Wear a face mask when at home - Health Minister

The Minister of Health, Ehanire Osagie has advised Nigerians to wear a face mask even when at home.

The Minister stated this while speaking on Thursday at the press briefing organized by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

“Wear your masks in your house if you are not sure of the COVID-19 status of those you are living with,” Ehanire said.

He also revealed why the COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has suddenly increased.

“We have explained that the increase in COVID-19 cases is due to more testing as well as surveillance,” he said.

On measures towards curbing the spread of the virus, Ehanire revealed that the PTF would work with religious and traditional leaders
