Troops arrest ISWAP liaison officer in Kaduna

Report indicates that the Nigerian army have apprehended a suspected member of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Kaduna state.

According to Zagazola Makama, a publication focused on the Lake Chad region, the suspect identified as Nasiru Mohammed, allegedly provides secret shelter for escaping terrorists.

This shelter helps them settle before they are moved to other camps in the north-west and central part of the country.

The news portal noted that the suspect, Mohammed also helps the terrorists with logistics and was working at the GSM wing of Kaduna central market before he was arrested.
