Tension erupts as plan to sponsor, instigate violence is uncovered

Report indicates that some politicians in Kaduna state are planning to sponsor and cause violence through their followers.

According to the state commissioner for internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan, the plan to disrupt the peace in the state was discovered through an intelligence.

In a statement issued on Thursday, March 23, as cited by legit.ng, Aruwan said the agenda of the politicians include:

"Storming the streets in a manner which could lead to a breakdown of law and order in the state.”

Aruwan noted that his outfit and other security agencies are monitoring the situation.

He however, warned that anyone or group caught in the act of causing lawlessness in the state would be punished.
