People are selling coronavirus vaccination slots – FG

The Federal Government has revealed that some individuals are engaging in the sale of the coronavirus vaccine.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Abdullazzi Abdullahi said this at a joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on coronavirus.

He noted that some people are selling their vaccination slots for monies.

However, he hinted that persons eligible for the vaccines will all receive the vaccine for free. Adding that testing of the virus will also continue in other to record the positive cases and ensure isolation and treatment.

“Everyone will be vaccinated free and everyone will eventually be vaccinated. There is no need to pay to be vaccinated.

“We are sustaining distribution of available commodities, PPEs and consumables to ensure availability at all times for end users at treatment centres," he said.
